Ferry Ride

We started early today back to Bayfield to take the ferry to the Madeline  Island. The only one that is inhabited so we went there.  The cost was $11.50 each for a round trip ticket.  And it takes almost half hour to get over.  Once over they had a  few stores and a church was having a yard sale. Not too much going on. We strolled around enjoying the view. The temp was in the upper 80's and  the humidity was high. They offer other trips but they were most of the day and we didn't really want to do that. One is a lighthouse tour. I thought about you Kathy and how you would have enjoyed it. Once back to Bayfield we did more window shopping and strolling.  We headed East and are now sitting in  a Michigan hotel. (Getting closer to home). We plan to visit the upper peninsula next.
Mike, I messed up. You told us about a town build around 1880's and we wanted to visit. For some reason I thought it was in Mi and when we started heading here I went back to see the name of the town to find out it was in Minnesota.
We have places that others have told us about to see when we got here so we are going to make sure not to miss out on those.
