We spent today in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our first and really only stop was at a water fall. We took the time to walk the trails taking pictures as we went along. We decided to take a different way back which wasn't too far out of the way but all uphill. I felt less guilty for eating that chocolate covered donut for breakfast.
As we drove across the state we noticed that there isn't a lot of life. There are trees trees and more trees. We went through a few small towns and ended up in Marquette. We will stay the night here and look for more waterfalls tomorrow on our way to Sault Ste Marie. Not sure where after that.
We are slowly getting closer to home. I am looking forward to getting back but also enjoying what we are doing. When we get home I will look back at this and think how fast it went by.
Miss you!
