We managed to make it to Frankenmuth Mi Thursday after the rain stopped. It was late in the day but the stores stayed open. We hit a clock store where we bought a water fountain for the back porch. We had it shipped because it was too big for the car. Keep and eye out for it Tim.
We ate dinner at Zeinders where there are famous for their chicken. They are pricey but they serve so much food that if you eat there you should split a plate. Gary and I split some chicken roll and it came with; bread,jam, toast,cheese,liverwurst,coleslaw,pickles, cottage cheese, maybe more but I can't remember. But we did not eat it all.
We left there heading for southern Michigan and we ended up in Ann Arbor. We spent the night Friday did our laundry and headed for Jen and Darren's. We went to Plymouth Mi for dinner. What a great town! That place is booming. Don't know why, I don't think it is really a tourist town. We ate dinner at Comparis, great food. Darren's treat, Thanks! Mike(son)meet us for dinner then came back with us to Jen's and Darrens. Visited until midnight and could have gone longer but our eyes were getting heavy.
We did play with the ducks that live in the backyard by the water fountain. Looks like momma and her babies. Later today we are heading to Gary's sister for a pot luck. His aunts and uncles, mom and dad will be there.
We plan to visit my family before we leave Michigan for New York. We will go through Canada to get there.
