Today we drove to Durango Colorado. It seems that you can't go from one town to another without riding on the edge of a cliff. Again today it tore our nerves up and was a beautiful ride.
Once we arrived and got our room we walked the streets. This is a booming town. Lots of folks here. Lots of shops, restaurants and saloons.
If you remember I posted that Glenn was going to shave his head if he could raise $1000.00 to help children with cancer. Well he did it so I am going to share his bald pictures with you.
I am hearing that some of you would like to post a comment but are unable to. I am pretty new with this blog thing but I think you have to have a google account to do so. If you have and still can't post let me know in an e-mail and I will look into it more.
As for tomorrow we were going to ride the Durango & Silverton historic steam train. When we found out it took 9 hours to go from here to Silverton and back we had a change of heart. We figured we have already seen the sights and sounds of the mountains :)
So we plan if all goes well to see if we still fit in a saddle. We will probable only take an hour ride. Wish us luck.
Karen
