Today we drove from the North side of Houston to The Woodlands to visit Pumkin. (my aunt)
She lives in a beautiful place. As we drove to her home we would see what looked like mini billboards for restaurants and gas stations tucked away in the woods lining the road. After a closer look I could barely see buildings hiding behind. So while you think you are out in the country you are really in the mist if it all.
We visited their "river walk" a very relaxing place. We walked up one side and waited for a tour boat to bring us back and when it didn't show up soon enough we walked back stopping for lunch on the way. We meet her friend Lee and had a nice visit.
We are now in San Antonio and will take the river walk and see what else is in store for us. There is a lot to do here.

Hi....just wanted to wish you both a very happy holiday....The kids are coming for a cookout and then we'll probably go into Lillington for the fireworks. Punking looked good in the pictures. Hope you told her hi for me.

ReplyDeleteWe just left San Antonio river walk. We were there 5 hours. We are heading for Dallas. I did make sure to tell Pumkin you said hi.
