We are heading towards Everett Wa which is about 1 1/2 hours from Seattle. My cousins and Uncle live there.
Yesterday we spent the day around Seattle. We started our day at Pike Place Market. Big booming tourist place. They sell fresh fish, fresh flowers, fruit, veggies and anything else your heart desires. It would take all day if not two to visit it all. Everyone and their brother was there. Elbow to elbow,and the price of everything except the flowers were out of sight. After a while there we decided to get away and head for Mt Rainier. Beautiful and relaxing drive. I was able to get a power nap. Once at the mountain we stopped often to take pictures and a couple of short trails. We learned that it is an active volcano. Although sleeping you never know when it will wake up.
Hi, looks like you're still having a great time. I just wondered how you were passing up all the casino's in Washington....or are you? I wanted to mention that you might be interested in the Seattle underground tour while you are there. Tell Uncle Kenneth and all the cousins I said hello. Later

Yes we are still having a great time. We thought about the underground tour and forgot about it when we got here. We are now on our way out.
ReplyDeleteWe managed to pass all the casino's (really didn't see too many). We did go to one last night with Janet, Mary ,David, Tim and Jeff. We lost $7.00 :(
We played a while and had a great time. We went to that one because they had the best strawberry short cake. They make it with biscuits, and it was delightful!
