I didn't forget to post yesterday but we spent the day away from any phone towers. I am here to tell you there is plenty of land in the US with no human life. Until those deer's learn to use a phone there is no need for towers.
So, yesterday we did indeed saddle up. Yes it is one of those things you just don't forget how to do. We found a stable near by and rented two horses. A mother and 3 teen age girls went with us. We had a nice guide. We told her we didn't want a dead horse or one that was just broke either. I had a paint and Gary had a tan one. After just a few minutes Gary said he thought we could get into this again. I don't think there is enough room in our back yard for any horses.
We road around the mountains . The weather was nice but I still managed to burn my arms. The family that road with us was from California and had a getaway in Durango. She suggested we go to The Resort and take a sled down the slop. Sounded like fun so we did.
Then we started heading for the Grand Canyon. We made it to a town called Page. I still could not get a signal. In bed early, we needed it.
